A Stephen Minister Church

For several years we have been concerned that the value of Sunday School as it traditionally has been offered is waning.  At its best, traditional curriculum helps children to know about God, but does not usually help children to experience God.  At its worst, it is boring, flat, one-dimensional.

Our Christian Education Committee under the leadership of Sandra Craft has developed a unique curriculum based on positive character traits.  Each month a difference character trait is selected for study.  Biblical stories and passages are used as entry points into our helping our children discover how their leading a Christian life is related to God's story, how their lives are caught up in God's life.  It is a method that Jesus used in teaching people, is it not?

Our SENIOR HIGH students gather each Sunday with a church member to talk about his or her faith story.

Sunday morning ADULT EDUCATION offers a variety of current themes and topics, again aimed at leading a Christian lifestyle in our everyday world.
