Love One Another
Our outreach efforts are founded on our love of God and for one another.
We seek to open doors for all to learn, grow, and live in love.
OPEN TO ALL
Our historic building attracts historians and artists. The acoustic design showcases our musical ministry with community events. Weekly, various community groups take advantage of our facility. Groups include artist workshops, music organizations and other service organizations.
OPEN HEARTS
One of the main ways we try to give back on a daily basis is through our outreach supply programs “The Little Food Library” & “Cart of Caring”. With the congregations help and generous donations we are able to provide basic hygiene and food supplies to those less fortunate. If you are able to help please review the Amazon list of needed items and drop of your donations at the church office shopping OR simply use the Amazon “Little Food Library / Cart of Caring Supplies List” to order directly and have items shipped to the church.
Community
We often share community outreach, youth fellowship and special worship services with our neighboring churches. An outreach opportunity we participated in was the city’s Pride Fest to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community and create a safe space for all.
Breaking Bread
We regularly welcome members of the community to break bread with us at gatherings like dinners with ACP families.
Reaching Out
We strive to meet the needs of our community through winter warmth and food kits, rummage sales and supporting local food pantries. Every Friday we stock our “Cart of Caring” located outside our chapel with essential items for the community.
Need Pastoral Care ?
If you or a loved one is in need of pastoral care please call the church office at: 716-487-1984 or email office@firstpresjamestown.com
TUTORING
Partnering with a local Jamestown public school, we have been able to serve 15+ children weekly through our tutoring program “Tutoring Our Neighbor’s”.
A CHILDREN’S PLACE
A Children’s Place, an accredited daycare, is our own onsite full day child care and UPK program that presently serves 93 children. It is one of the oldest accredited daycare centers in Chautauqua County. It has been educating young children for fifty plus years. Tuition is based on a sliding scale, and every year ACP awards thousands of dollars in scholarships.
